West End Farm Stud provides a
specialist livery, rehabilitation and stud facility where the horse's natural
needs are combined with conventional professional care.
Set on our family's 600 acre farm, on
the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, near Driffield, we can provide a peaceful,
private place for your horse combined with a range of livery options to suit
the individual needs of you and your horse.
In 2010 we will be standing 4 resident
stallions along with Flayne Don Daiquiri and Thornwick Challenger visiting when
required. The resident stallions are our own Quarter Horse stallion, Waccabuc
Bay Charger and our young Tobiano sports horse, Greenvale Audacity together
again with Mrs Heather Ketley's, Kirkmoor Elderberry Flower, an approved
Cleveland Bay stallion. New for 2010 is Bavarnno, a super KWPN stallion
standing for the first time.
Our aim is to offer a good choice of
stallions all of whom have super temperaments combined with correct
conformation and the ability to produce wonderful youngsters that can be safe
riding horses, sound competition horses and fantastic allrounders.
West End Farm Stud works hard to
provide the right stud service for you and your mare using both natural and AI
service and a peaceful breeding environment for your mare.
West End Farm Stud also runs a private
livery yard where horses are taken in for starting under saddle and schooling,
we cater for problem horses with both ridden and ground issues and horses
prepared for both competition and sale. We have limited availablity for your
horse whilst you are on holiday. We also have super facilities for horses
recovering from injury or illness. |
